Providing animals with open space that matches their original habitat is the goal of ZOO Planckendael, a very modern zoo. Occasionally some animals are released from the habitats to walk among the people, such as a parade of penguins that follows a handler's bucket of fish. Kids will appreciate the petting zoo, where they can touch friendly goats, while adults may prefer the large cats and the elephants. Ask for a map and a list of feeding times at the ticket kiosk to help you plan your day. Consider bringing a picnic lunch with you to save money on food. You can also save a few euros on the entrance fee by purchasing a ticket online. The habitats are large and take time to walk around, so be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. Very nice. Adventure for grownups and kids as well. I would say 3 to 4 hours visit approx. Parking 11 Euros. Ticket 30 Euros. Restaurant, snacks available. Toilets clean.

nice big zoo, but I've seen more beautiful ones, actually it is not just zoo but it is better to say that it is a family park, there are several restaurants inside and a lot of playgrounds and climbing places for children and even for adults, they have not so many animals, I would say 50 to 50 as animals to attractions, pros: a very funny place for children, interesting themed parts of the zoo, pinguins and flamingos were gorgeous, a lot of toilets available, easy parking, good orientation, cons: two thematic sections are still under construction, one of the restaurants was closed, others were full of people, the price is too high, parking is paid even if the parking lots were almost empty, a little bit overcrowded
