Adjacent to the ocean and sheltered by the rocks sits The Bubbly Pool, a natural rock pool that creates bubbles. This phenomenon requires the weather conditions to be right--waves must be breaking on the north side of the shore for bubbles to appear. As the waves crash on the rocks, water pushes through, creating a bubble effect. The water sinks to about 1.2 m (4 ft) and therefore offers a fun and safe experience for kids.     My son and I enjoyed the shirt walk and refreshing dip at the bubbles. We met a friendly family from Arkansas and the area was not crowded.

    Wear your shoes, the pool bottom is rocky. What a fun stop. You have a short walk past Foxy's Taboo bar down a small path, up a rocky hill and finally to the pool. The waves coming in from the bay...
