The island is currently unpopulated. Franciscans from Bosnia came into possession of the island in 1398. They held it until 1949, when it was expropriated by the communist authorities.

  • The deer are amazing, it's super quiet and has a boat coming every half hour or so, so you can come and go whenever you want. I had the best time here.

  • We visited this island with the taxi boat leaving from the opposite side of the port in Korcula, it cost 50 kuna round trip over person if I am not wrong. It was definitely a good choice, the island.....  more
