Create an itinerary including Korcula Town Walls
Korcula Town Walls date back to the 13th century and have witnessed their share of history due to the strategic location of the town on the Adriatic Sea. Intricate carvings and plaques embellish the length of the walls, and a total of ten defensive towers still overlook the sea and provide a little taste of the area's medieval past. Inspirock's itinerary builder makes planning a Korcula Town trip simple and quick.

  • The Town of Korčula is small but quite scenic. The walls delineate old town. There are some nice churches, as well as some great restaurants and shopping. There is also the House of Marco Polo...

  • Traditional dance "Moreška"
  • In Korcula town, you will feel like traveling back in times. The city is located on Korcula island in Croatia, and surrounded by former city walls. You feel its medieval history throughout the entire center. 🇭🇷 You can observe the former city walls, narrow streets, climb a bell tower for views, get to know the history of Marco Polo, enjoy cocktails and go for wine tastings in the surroundings. 💜 Cool fact! The city was built in the shape of a fishbone, designed in a way that the western streets were open to refreshing summer breezes and the eastern part of town was protected from cold winter winds. ✏️ Thank you Sail Croatia for showing me the beauty of the Croatian coast.
