My favorite beach area on the island! Beautiful white sand and calm clear water. There are tons of shops and restaurants to enjoy while you are there. Free parking is always a plus! If you head over to the chill beach bar, your feet are already in the sand while you dine, and they even have a few Adirondack style chairs along the waters edge where you can hang out and enjoy a drink as well. I saw some others leaving their towel on the chairs and spending the whole day with their feet in the water occasionally ordering something to drink from the servers. (No charge for the chairs) It was the perfect spot to spend our afternoon and evening. The upper level dining felt like a classier dining experience, where the beach level felt like a more casual beach scene. The opposite end of the beach had a beach club with a pool and looked like it would be a really exciting night life spot. I was very surprised how clean the restroom was for it being at the beach. Next time I’m visiting I will definitely be booking a room at the Lions Dive resort so I can spend more time at this spot.

Paradise in Curaçao! We stayed here ALL day and could have probably stayed at this beach ALL week. This beach was incredible! The water has so much salt in it you, your body naturally floats and becomes buoyant. There are rock platforms for people to climb up and jump off of. Those natural rock platforms also provide the opportunity for people to watch different species of crabs in their environment. I suggest to bring or buy snorkeling gear to have a chance to view the beautiful fish swimming with you. On our trip, some people even spotted turtles eating the sea grass below us! On this beach there is also a pool for those that don’t like the ocean. There is also an outdoor bar/restaurant for food and drinks.
