A lot of art! Lovely building and very well laid out. Good cafe on ground floor. Can easily spend couple of hours here. Combine with Natural History Museum / Botanic Gardens for a nice contrast

Very cool and pretty inside, the museum has blended old buildings with new buildings perfectly to an extent that in some cases it's not even noticeable. The art is well laid out and detailed in their descriptions. A great way to kill a couple of hours if you fancy a bit of culture.

Wide ranging exhibitions of art, both from the Danish as well as other artists all over the world. Exhibitions are very well put together and flow nicely even if you deviate from the chronological layout they could be followed in. The variety of art (from paintings to sculptures and (hyper) modern performance art) is also splendid and it is always good (if not always nice) to see a museum choose to display art that is very confrontational and can be actually upsetting.
