Walk through Jaegerborg Dyrehave, known for its mixture of huge, ancient oak trees and large populations of red and fallow deer. All 15 entrances to the park have a characteristic red gate adjoining a small ranger's house. Take the time to see Hermitage Palace, built during the reign of Christian VI. You'll notice the roads laid out in the classic star form, which was typical for areas used in hunting with dogs. Amenities include an old theatre with many small tents on a hilly terrain, an old amusement park, a drinking fountain, a restaurant, and a former ranger station on the King's hunting road that has been turned into a hotel.
