Book Cafe - Lotz Terem, Budapest

The most beautiful cafe you will ever visit. You feel like you’re a royal guest here. I thought Cafe Central in Vienna was good, this is amazing! Had Dobos cake and Melange.

I used to come there very often, of course, the hall is impressive, the painted walls and ceilings tell a lot about Budapest. I liked to buy cakes, sandwiches,wine, coffee. Sometimes I spent there hours studying something. If you get a book from the bookstore it's nice to sit down at that cafe. Sometimes there's too many people, mostly in the evening, it can be hard to find a free table and it gets noisy. From time to time a musician plays piano, it's very relaxing. A little bit inconvenient is the location of the toilet - downstairs in the bookstore. Basically it's worth visiting, just to try the famous cakes and enjoy the beauty of the historical building.
