Postamuzeum, Nagyvazsony

🙂 A very good small collection in a nicely renovated building. There were few people, so we also received nice verbal information about what we were seeing. We can find out what important services the Post Office provided in the transport of people and goods, what tools were used to ensure that the mails reached their destination as quickly as possible. We can also see how communication has developed, how the phones and computers of our childhood have become museum objects. This is where my grandchildren met a working dial telephone for the first time, they could try it out, see and hear how the center's relays click when the dial is turned, and then the called device starts ringing. A museum that can be visited several times, both children and adults can find something that they have not known before. 🙁 Anyone expecting to find a toilet in the museum will be disappointed.

This small museum is housed in a beautifully renovated building. Very imaginative, well thought out, lots of information and relics. There is even a stagecoach. You can try out the old telephone that worked at the dawn of calling. The lady at the museum is nice. I was surprised that there is one here and we were not disappointed. I recommend!
