Shri Trimbakeshwar Shiv Jyotirlinga
An ancient and important Hindu site, Shri Trimbakeshwar Shiv Jyotirlinga draws worshippers from across the country. Dedicated to Lord Shiva, the temple sits at the source of a long river, itself considered sacred in the Hindu world. One of the 12 Jyotirlinga shrines of Shiva (where he reportedly appeared as a column of light), the complex features dark stone buildings carved in traditional Hemadpanthi style and dating back to the 18th century. Its centerpiece, a linga representing Brahma, Vishnu, and Rudra, bears a crown of precious jewels, displayed briefly once a week. The central pool that flows into the river has been surrounded by arched verandas, where families of worshippers wait to cleanse themselves in the sacred water. Holy worship temple of Lord Shiva, situated at an amazing hill location. Don't fall in trap of 2 km away parking and paying extra to policemen outside, the free parking is available inside and from that parking spot, the temple is only 300 meters away. Separate counter for VIP entry is available which charges 200/- per person (recommended as there is a lot of rush). The general entry encompasses of 4 big halls but very good arrangements are already made such as sitting, water etc. for the people standing in lines. Outside the temple, everything is available from restaurants to urinals. The weather of this place is very amazing and the scenery is mesmerizing.

The Trimbakeshwar temple is located Little inside from the main road. Amidst a bustling market. Be careful with your shoes n belongings. Mobiles are not allowed in the temple. There is one more temple located on the hill, you can visit that as well. It provides the beautiful view of hills n the city.
