Santuario della Madonna della Pace, Menaggio

The inhabited area of ​​Nobiallo is crossed by a historical stretch of the ancient Via Regina, which in a short space of time begins to rise northwards and reaches the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Pace, an octagonal building dating back to 1660, preceded by a pronaos, with a polygonal apse and bell tower. The church was built following the miracle of the tearing of a Madonnina venerated in a chapel along Via Regina, at the foot of the sanctuary; the event is represented in a marble bas-relief, now preserved in the tabernacle of the church.
