The mosaics outside as well as those inside are fabulous, byzantine style, from the 13th century. This Church is the most beautiful in trastevere, the interior being the combination of different styles of byzantine, renaissance and baroque era. The piazza in front is also the preferred spot for hanging around and having dinner as the view is so beautiful
