It is a small church in the historical part of the city, with a very beautiful altar. The image of Christ used in the processions is very impressive.

Church built in 1539, whose façade is covered with tiles from the 19th century. The high altar received, at the end of the 17th century, a Mannerist altarpiece of great value, with the central figure Nossa Senhora da Misericórdia. In the attached chapel stands out the image of Senhor dos Passos, dating from the end of the 18th century.
