Museu do Douro, Peso Da Regua

Nice Touro region wine and portal museum located right off the major road with abundance of free parking. Inside they are multiple levels with permanent exhibit of duo rewind and some equipments. However it does not have a lot of information on wine making but mostly focus on regional planting of wine and creation of slopes. To find interesting details on how Wang’s or portals are made, they can be found on small locations which is not very obvious. Nevertheless the six dollar adult admission includes a glass of Porto Tawny 10 year.

This is a nice little museum that showcases the history of the Douro and the port wine trade. For the wine students out there, they have Demarcation marker #1, from the original demarcation of Mrq. Pombal. (Some of us find things like that cool). It's a small-ish museum, so it's easy to add to your schedule. The price of admission includes a free glass of port at the rooftop bar when you're done. When I was there is was a 10 year Tawny.
