The Almeida Moreira Museum is one of the museums belonging to the municipal network. Created in the house where Francisco Almeida Moreira, an illustrious 19th-century native of Vise, lived, this museum brings together a valuable documentary collection and an artistic collection that is worth discovering. If you have already visited the Grão Vasco National Museum, you will know that Francisco Almeida Moreira was its founder. Thus, his dedication to collecting and the cultural rejuvenation of the city is not surprising. Count on finding works of painting and sculpture, especially the collection of naturalist paintings by national and foreign painters such as Joaquim Lopes, Columbano Bordalo Pinheiro, José Malhoa, Mariano Benlliure and Luís Tomazini, among many others.
