The Slovak National Museum (Slovak: Slovenské národné múzeum) is the most important institution focusing on scientific research and cultural education in the field of museology in Slovakia. Its beginnings "are connected with the endeavour of the Slovak nation for national emancipation and self-determination".

  • Beautiful exhibitions. It explains human evolution, the evolution of the earth and animal kingdom and so on. It is relatively cheap. 3 euro reduced price, 6 regular. The museum is small, doesn't exhibit the age of dinosaurs. I wouldn't go with children to be fair. The exhibition is both in English and Slovakian.
  • My kids love this place. I miss some inovative features and more interactive educational stuff. I literally hate all those seniors sitting near entry doors watching after each of your move.
