A hilltop viewpoint, Mala Osojnica offers iconic views of Bled Lake after a steep and rather challenging hike. If you're willing to put in the effort, the vistas from the top will be more than a worthy reward--especially if you are looking for a chance to take some memorable snapshots. Along the way, look around the path for native plants and colorful flowers. Dress for the outdoors and pick a pair of shoes that will be both comfortable and stable over uneven and steep terrain. • Very easy to recreate many of the professional shots of Lake Bled and the Church from this vantage point. I hiked for only 20 - 30 minutes. Don't need to go to the top for views - you'll know the...

  • Great hike up to the viewpoint. Slippery underfoot when wet and very steep steps. Managed with 4 and 6 year old though. Google maps suggests its a circular trail but we couldn't find an alternative path down so came back the same route.
  • This is the best view of Bled, without a doubt. The walk can take some time (I think it took 20-30 minutes for me, each way), and it is quite steep and a bit slippery in some places. After the steep stairs, there is a bench, and trust me, when it is 30+ degrees, you will definitely need a sit down, and to enjoy the beautiful view. The views once at the top are breathtaking, possibly made even better if you made it up in time for sunrise. This is definitely something you should do in Bled, although, if you are scared of heights, this may not be for you.
