The main street, which the municipality blocks off on weekends to allow for safe pedestrian traffic, branches off into narrow alleys, lined with art galleries, teahouses, and garden restaurants.     Beautiful touristy and hip walking street in Seoul where you'll find lots of traditional deco houses, art galleries, artists, and traditional souvenirs and teahouses. It is very good to buy those kinds of stuff. It is one of my favorite places to visit!

    Must go for foreigners!! Insadong street is such a cool historical place in Korea. There are traditional shops and restaurants all around you can really get a taste of Korea. We went during a public holiday so it was quite busy and it rained. I want to go back and see more. Most of the shop owners spoke a little bit of English so it was so nice to feel comfortable. They have an abundance of souvenirs for very cheap and of course you’re supporting local so it feels great!
