Eat your heart out at Kwangjang Market, a bustling destination offering a huge array of classic Korean fare and goods. Wander this thriving street market, one of the largest in the country, and browse the 5,000-plus shops and storefronts bursting with food grills, clothing collections, and more. Pick up some handicrafts as a memento, stock up on traditional herbs and medicines, or even take your pick from an array of fresh fruits and vegetables. Despite all of these goods on offer, it's the freshly prepared meals that reigns supreme here. Make sure you taste the market's premier dish, a savory mung-bean pancake known as "bindaettok." Alternatively, you can opt for other well-known dishes, such as "bibimbap" (a rice bowl filled with meat and vegetables) or "mayak gimbap" (rice rolls with seaweed). Add Kwangjang Market to your Seoul travel itinerary, and discover new vacation ideas by using our Seoul trip itinerary planner.

This place is way too crowded. But there was a lot of food choices available, and all the stalls that sell the same things clustered in the same location, so it’s not too difficult to find a seat. The food are all pretty good. Especially loved the hotteok we got for dessert

Such a great place to try all kind of Korean street food. Tasty and fresh and you can see locals are still coming here to eat and have their soju. It can get really crowded, worth to come early evening.
