Construction of the museum commenced on 2 January 2009 and was completed on 31 January 2011. It opened on 22 June 2011.

We visiting the Petroglyph museum with wisitors from Norway. It was a very interesting visit and the old Korean guide who was speaking good English was just fantasic. Go and visit, its interesting.

Best to use 304 from Eonyang with infrequent bus to museum or 308 and walk the 1 - 2km. There is a lovely walk in the woodland besides the river. One way leads to the dinasuar markings in the rocks...
