Skanes Djurpark, Hoor

Was pleasantly surprised! Specially that we got to see the dinosaur exhibition. The place is well organized for kids’ adventures. There are Nordic animals too, they have quite large habitats and show up when they show up and I actually like that. Kids can really enjoy the place and the dinosaurs were way more than expected- real size reproductions/ they seemed so real.

Very expensive ticket if you buy less than 2 weeks ahead, in season, on weekend : 30 euros per person, including children. Parking another 4.5 euros, plus a lot of other ways to get money off the visitor. Very crowded on weekends. The area is huge and has many attractions, but if it is crowded, you cannot benefit. Goats welcome you as you enter. Using a toilet the water tank had no pressure, it was smelly. The animals and their habitats are nice, but not comparable to a big city zoo. There is a Dino park as well and many workshop places. Paths at tree level are pleasant to cross and give nice views. More English panels required. Not worth it if you stay under 2 hours probably.
