    This is a very good place to visit and to get the chance to combine a good exercise, running the stairs up while enjoying the lovely views of the surrounding landscape!

    On the top, there is a great view over the surroundings, including the now waterfilled pits where the shale was won. The vegetation is mainly grass, but where smouldering heats the soil, you see moss and it smells as if someone was laying tarmac. There are 30 artistic objects, often large, relating to the site and built by selected materials.

    Pretty cool and unique place in this area of Sweden. High plateau and quite the scenic stopover. Can have a picnic or go to the café on-site (till 17:00).
