Sprawling over 20 acres, Botanical Gardens (Botaniska Tradgarden) showcases 7,000 colorful species of plants. Two hundred plants reside in greenhouses customized to nine different climate zones. The garden was built in 1690 on the site of Lund University, but was moved to its current location in 1862 after outgrowing its original spot. In 1974 the garden was named a national landmark, and today it continues its legacy as a teaching tool in botany, gardening, and ecology. This is a never miss item if you are ever in Lund. Especially Spring, summer and Autumn. It becomes flower heaven. Tremendous varieties of trees. Its an absolute joy to visit.

Amazing place! Make sure to visit during the blooming season. The tulips are beautiful and during the warm seasons you can just go there and lay on the field.
