Situated just west of the Rosendal Palace, Rosendals Garden serves as a public space that is famous for its lovely gardens as well as its shop, cafe, and bakery. Swedish King Karl XIV Johan developed this area into an English park in the 19th century; it was opened to visitors with the goal of educating the public about the history of agriculture and gardening. Today you can walk along paths in the tranquil European gardens, including the fruit, rose, and wine gardens. Stop in to the site's popular gardening and gift shop or pull up a seat at the cafe or bakery to sample some renowned baked goods. The cafe serves up food and wines made from plants grown in the gardens. Plan to visit Rosendals Garden during your Stockholm vacation using our convenient Stockholm travel tool.

Aesthetic place with summer cottage vibe. Nice atmosphere, lovely cafe with lots of tables to sit outside. I ate there a simple salad with roasted beetroot and potatoes and it was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh!

Oh it's so oh so nice! And maybe that's their Achilles heel as well. It's like too sweet a cake that you feel a little nausea just when you see the icing. Lots of flowers and ladies and green thumbs and things that go with flowers, ladies, and thumbs. I really like it there just like everyone. And it's great to leave too.
