After an hour walk from downtown Uddevalla, we were at the castle ruins. the hike up the hill is not a particularly strenuous one, even with snow on the ground. The ruins themselves are fairly small and you can walk around them in about 10 minutes or so. the best part is that you can still climb to the top of the tower and look out over the town.

It may not have been a real castle, but fun ruins to climb around and great views from the top of the tower.
