Often described as the city of laptops and lederhosen, Munich is an international center of business, engineering, research, and medicine that still maintains a rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions.
Family-friendly places like Marienplatz and Alte Pinakothek will thrill your kids. There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Munich Residenz, contemplate the waterfront views at English Garden, admire the striking features of New Town Hall (Neus Rathaus), and contemplate the long history of Nymphenburg Palace.

You've added Berlin Like a Local, Insider Tour, Memorial of the Berlin Wall, and other attractions to your itinerary.
