Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
Explore Florence's surroundings by going to Leaning Tower of Pisa (in Pisa) and Piazza del Campo (in Siena). There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Gallerie Degli Uffizi, take in the spiritual surroundings of Campanile di Giotto, appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza del Duomo, and don't miss a visit to Piazzale Michelangelo.
