You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Fisherman's Bastion and Hungarian National Gallery (Magyar Nemzeti Galeria). Get in touch with nature at Danube River and Nemzeti Botanikus Kert. Go for a jaunt from Budapest to Domos to see Ram Szakadek about 46 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: see the interesting displays at House of Terror Museum, head outdoors with Scootapest, steep yourself in history at Heroes' Square, and admire the striking features of Matthias Church.
