One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
You've now added Royal Tomb of King Taejong Muyeol to your itinerary. On the 5th (Thu), appreciate the history behind Seokguram, steep yourself in history at Gyeongju Hyanggyo, and then contemplate the waterfront views at Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond. Keep things going the next day: don't miss a visit to Gyeongju Gyochon Traditional Village, then steep yourself in history at Royal Tomb of King Taejong Muyeol, then steep yourself in history at Cheonmachong Tomb, and finally contemplate the long history of Cheomseongdae Observatory.

A powerhouse of industry not just for South Korea but the world, Ulsan offers up a thriving metropolis dominated by trade but interspersed with some undisturbed scenery.
Ulsan is known for parks, museums, and nature. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: stroll around Daewangam Park, explore the activities along Taehwagang National Garden, kick back and relax at Ilsan Beach, and head outdoors with Jinha Beach.

Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Tue) early enough to drive to Gwangju.

Gwangju is the sixth largest city in South Korea. Your day by day itinerary now includes U.Square Cultural Center as well as Yangdong Market. On the 10th (Tue), get into the urban bustle at U.Square Cultural Center, then take an in-depth tour of Gwangju Folk Museum, and then don't miss a visit to 1913 Songjeong Station Market. Keep things going the next day: explore the striking landscape of Mudeungsan National Park and then stop by Yangdong Market.

Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Thu) so you can take a train to Jeonju.
