You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Budapest is known for historic sites, sightseeing, and nightlife. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: ponder the world of politics at Hungarian Parliament Building, take in the views from Szechenyi Lanchid, steep yourself in history at Széchenyi Thermal Bath, and make a trip to Fisherman's Bastion.

Amman, Jordan to Budapest is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Eastern European Standard Time (EET) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Plan for a bit cooler temperatures traveling from Amman in April, with highs in Budapest at 20°C and lows at 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Mon) to allow time to drive to Vienna.
