You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Get outdoors at Margaret Island and Alcsut Arboretum. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Fisherman's Bastion and Liberty Statue. Change things up with these side-trips from Budapest: Nemzeti Botanikus Kert (in Vacratot) and Nagybivalyos Fishing Lake and Leisure Center (in Varpalota). Cairo, Egypt to Budapest is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive. The time zone changes from Eastern European Standard Time (EET) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Plan for slightly colder temperatures traveling from Cairo in July, with highs in Budapest at 33°C and lows at 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Tue) so you can drive to Eger.

Nestled between the Matra and Bukk Mountains in northern Hungary, Eger represents a mixture of historical discovery and relaxing pleasures.
Popular historic sites such as Eger Castle and Minorita Templom are in your itinerary. Step off the beaten path and head to Art Glass Parad Kft and Cistercian Abbey of Belapatfalva. Pecs — 1 night

Pécs is the fifth largest city of Hungary, located on the slopes of the Mecsek mountains in the south-west of the country, close to its border with Croatia. Start off your visit on the 31st (Sun): delve into the distant past at Early Christian Mausoleum, explore the world behind art at Zsolnay Museum, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pecs Cathedral, and finally stroll the grounds of Sopianae cemetery at Pecs. On the next day, Head underground at Abaliget Cave, then explore the historical opulence of Pecsvarad Castle, and then see the interesting displays at Mives Tojas Muzeum.
