Pearl of the Black Sea

Though most famous for the Potemkin Steps leading down the Black Sea coast, Odessa welcomes visitors with several other attractions, including beaches and an ornate opera house.
Odessa is known for sightseeing, museums, and nightlife. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: get a dose of the wild on Ukraine by Locals, stroll around City Garden, see the interesting displays at Secrets of Underground Odessa Museum, and make a trip to Deribasovskaya Street.

Antalya, Turkey to Odessa is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. The time zone changes from Turkey Time (TRT) to Eastern European Standard Time (EET), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Traveling from Antalya in November, expect nights in Odessa to be little chillier, around 3°C, while days are colder, around 10°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 16th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Mykolayiv.

Mykolayiv — 10 nights

Mykolaiv, also known as Nikolaev or Nikolayev, is a city in southern Ukraine, the administrative center of the Mykolaiv Oblast. Get out of town with these interesting Mykolayiv side-trips: Kherson (Monument to the Shipbuilders, Fabrika, &more), Devil's Valley (in Aktove) and Ochakiv (Foreman Gorich Monument & Sudkovsky Seascape Painting Museum). There's still lots to do: meet the residents at Nikolaev Zoo, pause for some photo ops at Monument to St. Nicholas, pause for some serene contemplation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, and make a trip to Monument to Shipbuilders.

Traveling by car from Odessa to Mykolayiv takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. In November, plan for daily highs up to 9°C, and evening lows to 3°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 26th (Fri) to allow time for the car ride back home.
