You'll find plenty of places to visit near Maastricht: Meanderende Swalm in het Groenewoud (in Swalmen), St. Martinuskerk (in Venlo) and Roermond (Het oude Kerkhof Roermond & Kapel in 't Zand). Kaatsheuvel is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant, situated along highways N261 and N628. Get out of town with these interesting Kaatsheuvel side-trips: National Park De Biesbosch (in Drimmelen), Regte Heide & Riels Laag (in Riel) and Groothoofdspoort (in Dordrecht). Pack the 28th (Fri) with family-friendly diversions at Efteling.
