Åhus is the second largest locality in Kristianstad Municipality, Skåne County, Sweden with 9,423 inhabitants in 2010, but the number triples during the summer due to tourists who come seeking the beaches and nature of the Helgeå and Hanöbukten area. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Tappet havsbad and Revhaken Havsbad. Get outdoors at Knabackshusens strand and Prastens badkar. Go for a jaunt from Ahus to Fjalkinge to see Kjugekull about 32 minutes away.
