In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
On the 12th (Mon), pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Santa Maria presso San Satiro, stroll around Parco di Monza, then join the crowd at Autodromo Nazionale Monza, then get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour, and finally indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour. On the 13th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Milano, see La Casa Maledetta, make a trip to Dialogo nel Buio, then admire the landmark architecture of Villa Visconti Borromeo Litta, then appreciate the history behind Arco della Pace, and finally admire the landmark architecture of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.

Varenna — 1 day

Varenna is a comune (municipality) on Lake Como in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60km north of Milan and about 20km northwest of Lecco.Varenna was founded by local fishermen in 769, and was later allied of the commune of Milan. On the 14th (Wed), pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di San Giorgio, pause for some serene contemplation at S. Giovanni Battista, admire the landmark architecture of Villa Monastero, take in breathtaking views at Orrido di Bellano, then pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Santa Marta, and finally see the interesting displays at La Ca Di Radio Vecc.
