Budapest — 3 nights

Pearl of the Danube
You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.Discover out-of-the-way places like Margaret Island and Liberty Bridge (Szabadsag hid). Explore Budapest's surroundings by going to Nagyvillam Ski Slope (in Visegrad) and Erzsebet Park (in Godollo). There's lots more to do: don't miss a visit to Fisherman's Bastion, snap pictures at Szechenyi Lanchid, see the interesting displays at House of Terror Museum, and contemplate the long history of Liberty Statue.
To find other places to visit, traveler tips, photos, and tourist information, refer to the Budapest trip planner.
