Budapest — 3 nights

Pearl of the Danube

You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Explore hidden gems such as Hospital in the Rock Nuclear Bunker Museum and Holocaust Memorial Center. Fisherman's Bastion and Matthias Church are good opportunities to explore the local culture. There's still lots to do: indulge your senses at some of the top wineries in the area, indulge your taste buds at Central Market Hall, learn about winemaking at Faust Wine Cellar, and see the interesting displays at Budapest Pinball Museum.

To find photos, reviews, and other tourist information, refer to the Budapest journey planner.

If you are flying in from Jordan, the closest major aiport is Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport. In October, daytime highs in Budapest are 19°C, while nighttime lows are 7°C.
