The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.Change things up with these side-trips from Busan: Gyeongju (Gyeongju National Museum, Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, &more), Geoje (Hakdong Mongdol Beach & Oedo Botania) and Miryang (Yeongnamlu & Pyochungsa Temple). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Haeundae Beach, snap pictures at Gwangandaegyo Bridge, head outdoors with Gwangalli Beach, and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Haedong Yonggungsa.
