Terchová is a large village and municipality in the Malá Fatra mountains in the Žilina District in the Žilina Region of northern Slovakia.HistoryThe village was established in 1580, but the area was inhabited even before its establishment. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Terchova: Zilina (Povazske Muzeum v Ziline & Hrad Lietava), Liptovsky Mikulas (Tatralandia, Demanovska Cave of Liberty, &more) and Rozhladna Ostredok (in Demanovska Dolina). Banská Štiavnica is a town in central Slovakia, in the middle of an immense caldera created by the collapse of an ancient volcano.
