Debrecen — 3 nights

Debrecen is the second largest city in Hungary after Budapest. On the 14th (Thu), stroll around Nagyerdei Park. Here are some ideas for day two: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Great Church (Nagytemplom), then admire nature's wide array of creatures at Zoo Sosto, and then relax and rejuvenate at Aquaticum Medicinal and Thermal Baths.

Jerusalem, Israel to Debrecen is an approximately 14-hour combination of car and flight. Nestled between the Matra and Bukk Mountains in northern Hungary, Eger represents a mixture of historical discovery and relaxing pleasures.
Bring the kids along to Eger Castle and Tisza-tavi Okocentrum. There's much more to do: don't miss a visit to Dobo Square, admire the striking features of Visitor's Centre of the Eger Archbishop's Palace, see the interesting displays at Kopcsik Marcipania Szamos edessegbolt, and take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Nagy-Eged Mountain.
