Situated on Sweden's western coastline, Gothenburg attracts visitors with cultural festivals, a lively music scene, and a blend of classical and modern architecture.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Wed): steep yourself in history at Skansen Kronan and then get to know the fascinating history of Haga. Keep things going the next day: find something for the whole family at Liseberg Amusement Park, step into the grandiose world of Tjoloholms Castle, and then stroll around Horticultural Gardens (Tradgardsforeningen).
