CIty of Ramen

A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Rusutsu Resort Ski and Historical Village of Hokkaido (Kaitaku-no Mura). Museum-lovers will get to explore Royce' Chocolate World and Sapporo Art Museum. Get out of town with these interesting Sapporo side-trips: Mitsui Outlet Park, Sapporo Kitahiroshima (in Kitahiroshima), Noboribetsu (Noboribetsu Bear Park, Noboribetsu Date Historic Village, &more) and Chitose Outlet Mall Rera (in Chitose). Town of Hills

The port city of Otaru has long attracted domestic visitors, drawn in by the city's many historic buildings, and has started to garner international attention, too.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Sat): hunt for treasures at Sankaku Market, steep yourself in history at The Site of Temiya Line, then contemplate the waterfront views at Otaru Canal, and finally examine the collection at Otaru Museum, Bank of Japan.
