Swansea — 2 nights

Swansea, officially known as the City and County of Swansea, is a coastal city and county in Wales. Popular historic sites such as Raglan Castle and Kidwelly Castle are in your itinerary. National Roman Legion Museum and St Fagans National Museum of History are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get out of town with these interesting Swansea side-trips: Penderyn Distillery Brecon Beacons (in Penderyn), Big Pit National Coal Museum (in Blaenavon) and Caerleon Amphitheatre (in Caerleon). It doesn't end there: enjoy the sand and surf at Oxwich Bay and look for all kinds of wild species at Three Cliffs Bay.
