We are very happy to have such a beautiful chapel in our city. We remember the Admiralty Cathedral, which was built on this site back in 1794. Although it was originally consecrated in honor of the Holy Martyr Gregory of Greater Armenia. He changed his name to Admiralty in 1798 after the death of Catherine II. It was destroyed by dynamite blasting in 1937 by the Communists.
