Lovely example of a old fashioned pier without lots of unnecessary fairground attractions to spoil it. Great place to eat fish and chips at the end of in the seated cubicles away from dive bombing...

The location is very convenient that is close to Beaumaris Castle, town centre and Castle Street. There is also a large car park that charges £5 per day. You can enjoy very nice scenery of the mountain in Wales mainland and Menai Strait. You can also take the ferry to the outlying island from the pier, and watch different types of birds if you are lucky enough too! However, I did not try during the visit owing to strong wind and continuous shower all the morning

A lovely little pier to be enjoyed in all (especially sunny) weather. This pier has recently been renovated, and is both clean and tidy with very nice mountain and Beaumaris Sea Harbour views etc. I particularly like to visit in the rain when there is an almost, 'mystical' type quality about the Beaumaris harbour. A very nice place indeed. :)
