Llanddwyn Beach, Dwyran

Beautiful spot. You cannot put a price on such beauty although they have tried and it's £2 for 2 hours parking and £7 for longer than 4 hours. It is worth the price however it is a shame that natural beauty spots have been commercialised. The access road has too many speed bumps and not enough passing places. Perhaps for the parking fee this should be reviewed. It is really a great spot. Tip, as well as the lighthouses, if you head south you will get the best view of North Wales and Snowdonia, in my opinion.

Lovely big carpark and the beach is large and clean and if you visit in the evening has wonderful sunsets. The walk to the island takes about 20 minutes and should be timed with the tide to allow you to get across….and back again. There are some lovely little coves on the island and some interesting features like ruins, lighthouses, cliffs and statues etc. Certainly a lovely place to visit just a shame the loo closes at 5 which is ridiculous because it gives people no alternative than to go off-road as it were.
