Great location beautiful scenery Water clear. Let down by numerous dogs entering water unattended. Areas for both would be appropriate

Beautiful quiet, clean beach. Dogs allowed, to be kept on lead as bird flu apparent & a few dead gulls on beach. Gorgeous sand then pebbles & shale. Carpark run by National Trust £5 for the day, short walk down a pretty lane to beach. Public toilets & a smashing dog friendly cafè/bar. Simply wonderful 5*

Lovely big beach when the tide is out. Quite sheltered too. We walked here with the dog when it was really windy and the beach was OK, think the headland gives good cover.
