Manorbier Castle (Welsh: Castell Maenorbŷr) is a Norman castle in Manorbier, 5 miles (8.0 km) southwest of Tenby, Wales. It was founded in the late 11th century by the Anglo-Norman de Barry family. The Cafe in Manobier has closed so leaves a small cafe in the castle as the only place to get a coffee the single member of staff managed very well and the coffee and cake was yummy

A small but very interesting castle. Lots of steep and uneven steps (to be expected in a castle, I suppose!), but views from the tower were well worth it. There's a lovely tea room which at the time we visited did not allow inside eating but there was plenty of seating dotted around the pretty grassed and landscaped castle courtyard. Unusually within the castle walls there is a large holiday cottage which sleeps 12 persons, I believe.

Stumbled across this place when out on a bike ride and needing a coffee! Great walled castle, beautiful on a sunny day, great views down to the beach very friendly staff. There had just been a wedding in there so there were still flowers around. Well worth a visit and not a crazy price
