  • This is such a beautiful beach and an amazing area for coastal path walks. Dogs allowed all year. There's a National Trust car park near the top corner of Sandy Lane (the track which you walk down to the beach on). During the summer months there's also the farmer's field nearby which gets you a little closer to the beach. An ice cream van is often parked near to the entrance of the field too. After reaching the bottom of the track, there are a few rocks to clamber over to reach the sand, but not too much effort needed. Once on the beach you've a vast area to relax on or explore. There's plenty of rock pools to explore as well as fossils to look out for. There's a fossil bed about three hundred metres to the East (turn left after reaching the beach) near to some other steps entering the beach. Continuing on for the same distance again you'll see some vertical rock faces in the cliffs for another area to search. No hammering or chiselling of the cliffs allowed however. Well worth a visit for the day.
  • The beach i huge. High and Low tide expected. If you want to stay over night on the beach, make sure you sleep in a tent otherwise some small bugs will jump on you, coming out the sands. The beach has a nice cost foot path, approx. 2-3 hours, if you are taking your time to enjoy. There is a parking and one campsite that its very close to the beach. Well, close, i mean like 20-30 min to talk, if the tide is high :)
