Create an itinerary including Bushkill Falls
Nestled within the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Bushkill Falls features a series of eight different waterfalls and an assortment of nature trails. You can wander across wooden bridges over roaring rivers as you discover each waterfall. Keep an eye out for the tallest, which plunges 30 m (100 ft). The trails provide different levels of difficulty, so for longer ones be sure to wear proper footwear. However, viewpoint over the biggest of the waterfalls is a relatively easy walk. • The Bushkill Falls was an amazing experience. My husband and I chose to walk the Yellow Route during the trip and it was a beautiful site to see.

  • My daughter and I absolutely loved it! We completed the whole trail in 2 hours and 10 including the many stops to admire the view, listen to the Falls and river’s current, admire nature and take pics. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes-hiking boots preferably, snacks and water if you are considering in doing the whole trail. We arrived around 1pm and it was busy but yet nice to walk and stop and admire the beauty of the Falls and trails. The paths are well maintained. There’s an entrance fee of 15 dollars weekdays, 18 on the weekends. There are a few concession stores and plenty of parking. People are friendly and will patiently wait during photo shoots. We really enjoyed it. Make sure to stop and take in the view. The long walk will definitely take a toll on your legs if you are not used to walking or hiking. Take your time. Definitely recommend.
  • It’s been decades (literally) since I walked the falls at Bushkill. What a pleasant surprise! The campus is clean, well maintained and easily accessible. The trails are clearly marked and the map they give you is easy to read. It’s completely pet friendly; in fact, my pups and I walked the longest trail (red) and had a fantastic time. Some of the steps and walkways are narrow- so make sure your furry friends are leashed and can stay close and to the side. People are generally kind and considerate, but many hikers would rather keep hiking than stop for a quick pet or sniff, which is completely understandable. There are smaller loops that would be great for pets who might not enjoy a long walk through some tough terrain. There are also snack bars, a mini food stand, ice cream store, souvenir shop and large restrooms. (Pets are not allowed in many of the indoor places.) Overall, this was the best $15 I’ve spent in a very long time. (Parking is free!)
